Privacy policy.

Last updated 12 May 2026. This policy explains how Linktura Stage Events Sdn Bhd collects, uses and protects personal information.

1. Who we are

Linktura Stage Events Sdn Bhd (Reg 1604792-W) is an event design and brand activation studio registered in Malaysia, with offices at Lot 18, Jalan Tun Ismail 7, Pusat Perniagaan Tun Ismail, 25000 Kuantan, Pahang, Malaysia. We are the data controller for personal information collected through this website and through our day-to-day client work.

2. What we collect

We collect personal information in the following ways:

  • When you brief us through this site: name, role, work email, phone number, company name and the contents of your project brief.
  • When you visit this site: standard server log data — IP address, browser type, referring page, session timestamps.
  • When you engage us as a client: contractual information including billing details, contact persons, and information about your event audience that you choose to share.
  • When you attend an event we produce: in limited cases (registration-based events, ticketed summits), we process registration details on behalf of our client. We act as a data processor in this scenario, not a controller.

3. Why we collect it

We process personal information for one of the following legitimate purposes:

  • To respond to enquiries submitted through this website.
  • To deliver event services under a signed engagement.
  • To comply with Malaysian tax, accounting and corporate record-keeping obligations.
  • To improve the security and operation of this website.

We do not sell, rent or trade personal information. We do not use submitted briefs to populate a marketing database or newsletter list.

4. How long we keep it

Project briefs submitted through this website are retained for twelve months from the date of submission, after which they are deleted. Engagement records (contracts, invoices, project documentation) are retained for seven years to comply with Malaysian tax and accounting obligations. Server logs are retained for ninety days.

5. Who we share it with

We share personal information only where necessary to deliver our services or to comply with the law. Specifically:

  • Vendors and partners contracted to deliver specific elements of an event (AV, catering, photography). Sharing is limited to what is necessary for their work and is covered by confidentiality terms.
  • Professional advisors (accountants, auditors, legal counsel) where required for compliance.
  • Regulators where compelled by Malaysian law.

We do not transfer personal information outside Malaysia except where the cloud-hosted productivity tools we use (Google Workspace, Microsoft 365) require it. These services maintain industry-standard safeguards.

6. Your rights

Under the Malaysian Personal Data Protection Act 2010, you have the right to access the personal information we hold about you, to correct it, and to withdraw consent to its processing. To exercise any of these rights, email [email protected] with the subject line "Data request". We will respond within fourteen working days.

7. Security

We protect personal information through industry-standard technical and organisational safeguards: encrypted storage, two-factor authentication on all studio accounts, restricted access on a need-to-know basis, and contractual confidentiality with vendors. In the unlikely event of a data breach affecting your personal information, we will notify you within seventy-two hours.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or in Malaysian regulation. The version date at the top of this page indicates the last revision. Material changes will be communicated to active clients directly.
